As reported on the official website of the Master of Public Administration Program, the COVID-19 pandemic has brought about many changes. Therefore, adaptation is a necessary step in response to the impacts of this pandemic. As policymakers, governments are expected to issue policies that can provide solutions. One of the central areas in this regard is fiscal and monetary policy.
To gain a deeper understanding of this matter, the Master of Public Administration Program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta held a Public Lecture on the theme “Fiscal and Monetary Policy During the Pandemic: Responses of Regional Planning and the Public Sector in Reducing Poverty” on Friday, January 8th, 2021, at 3:30 PM WIB.
This public lecture was part of the Government Financial Management course, taught by Dr. Dyah Mutiarin, M.Si., and Sakir Ridho Wijaya, S.IP., M.IP.
Notably, this online public lecture, moderated by Sakir, featured several prominent speakers: Prof. Dr. Wahyudi Kumorotomo, MPP. (Head of the Department of MKP, UGM), Prof. Rofikoh Rokhim, SE., SIP., DEA., Ph.D. (Independent Commissioner of Bank BRI and Professor at FEB UI), Sri Suhartanto, S.IP., M.Si. (Head of Bappeda Gunung Kidul), and Dr. Dyah Mutiarin, M.Si. (Lecturer at UMY).
