As announced on the official website of the Master of Public Administration program, data analysis techniques in research have been developing rapidly. This is evident in the emergence of various data analysis tools such as NVivo and Vos Viewer. These tools are quite familiar among students. However, it turns out that not all students understand how to use them.
To provide students with an understanding of these two tools, the Master of Public Administration Program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta held a Public Lecture on the theme “The Use of NVivo and Vos Viewer in Qualitative Analysis” on Saturday, December 19th. This public lecture was part of the Qualitative Research course taught by Dr. phil. Ridho Al-Hamdi, MA, Dr. Suswanta, M.Si, and Sakir Ridho Wijaya, S.IP., M.IP.
The speaker invited was Muhammad Iqbal, S.IP, M.IP., a Doctoral student at NCKU, Taiwan, who is also an alumnus of UMY’s IP program.
