To become a leading and reputable Postgraduate Program in ASEAN by 2025, producing science and technology through collaborative research for the benefit of humanity based on Islamic values is the grand vision of the UMY Postgraduate Program. Our steps to achieve this vision are to conduct doctoral and master's level education that is globally oriented, applicable, and inspiring, in line with universal human values. In addition, we conduct research that is able to translate and integrate Islamic values with the development of science in modern life.
After all these steps are taken, the hope of producing Muslim doctoral and master's graduates who master science, have noble character, have a global perspective, and are able to develop their scientific competencies to improve the welfare of humanity can soon be realized.
