The Graduate Program of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) once again held a graduation ceremony on (4/5) in the Amphitheater Room on the 4th floor of the UMY Graduate Building. Not only was it a symbolic graduation ceremony, but the event also featured a public lecture with the theme “Three Successes of UMY Graduate Program Alumni: Career/Individual Capacity, Contribution to the Development of the UMY Graduate Program, and AIK Preaching”.
“It is hoped that UMY graduate alumni can become millennial KH. Ahmad Dahlan who can be movers of da’wah in their respective places and become enlighteners and be able to enlighten. Hopefully, you will not only get a degree but also become a weight of good deeds and broaden your horizons,” said Sri Atmaja P. Rosyidi, M.Sc.Eng, Ph.D., P.Eng, Director of the UMY Graduate Program in his speech.
“Muhammadiyah is a miniature of a nation. Not a few Muhammadiyah roles have succeeded in inspiring the nation. So don’t hesitate for UMY graduate alumni to be proud of the UMY Graduate Program alma mater,” added Drs. Gita Danu Pranata, MM, during his public lecture.
