From Monday, October 7th to Tuesday, October 8th, the Postgraduate Program of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) underwent an on-site assessment conducted by the Independent Accreditation Board for Economics, Management, Business, and Accounting (LAMEMBA). This assessment was specifically for the Master’s Program in Accounting. This was the first on-site assessment for the Master’s Program in Accounting since its inception at UMY’s Postgraduate Program. LAMEMBA assigned two assessors, Prof. Dr. Nur Fadjrih Asyik, S.E., M.Si., Ak., CA, and Dr. Bambang Purnomosidhi, MBA., Ak., CA, to conduct the assessment at UMY.
The on-site assessment was divided into two days. On the first day, the event was opened with welcoming remarks by the Rector of UMY, Prof. Dr. Ir. Gunawan Budiyanto, M.P., IPM., ASEAN, Eng, followed by a welcome address from the LAMEMBA assessors. After the opening, the activities continued with presentations from the Program Management Unit (UPPS), namely the Postgraduate Program and the Study Program, which is the Master’s Program in Accounting, and data verification.
The second day of the on-site assessment involved checking facilities and infrastructure by the field assessors, followed by verification of the minutes and signing of the on-site assessment minutes by the assessors, UPPS, and the Study Program. The event concluded with a group photo.
