As reported on the official website of the Doctoral Program in Management, Dr. Heru Kurnianto Tjahjono, a lecturer at the Doctoral Program in Management, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY), was one of the presenters and reviewers at the IBIMA international conference in Madrid, Spain (13-14/11). This international conference in the field of business was attended by hundreds of lecturers, researchers, and students of management and business from several countries in Europe such as Spain, Portugal, Romania, Bulgaria, Russia, Scotland, Belgium, Austria, and others, as well as in Asia such as India, China, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, and others.
Prof. Dr. Heru Kurnianto Tjahjono explained one of his research studies on the perception of justice from the perspective of disabled employees. The study, titled “Study on Career Among Disabled Workers in Indonesia,” is an internal UMY grant research. The results of this study were considered unique and revealed interesting phenomena in the Indonesian context, so many participants asked questions and discussed the topic.
For the Doctoral Program in Management at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, international conference events are a forum for international academic interaction in order to make the UMY Doctoral Program in Management have an international reputation. The output of this international conference is in the form of proceedings indexed in the Scopus database.
