The Association of Postgraduate Programs of Muhammadiyah ‘Aisyiyah Universities (APPPTMA) held a National Working Meeting at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY). This three-day event took place from Wednesday to Friday, February 16-18, 2022. Attendees came from various Muhammadiyah ‘Aisyiyah Universities across Indonesia, with approximately 80 participants attending both in-person and online.
The National Working Meeting consisted of several activities, including: Guidance on Functional Positions for Lecturers in Muhammadiyah ‘Aisyiyah Universities, a Workshop on Data Science and Artificial Intelligence in Research, Activity Reports, and a National Meeting. The Guidance on Functional Positions for Lecturers was facilitated by Prof. Marwan Effendy, M.Eng., Ph.D, and moderated by Ir. Sri Atmaja P. Rosyidi., M.Sc.Eng., Ph.D., P.Eng., IPU., ASEAN.Eng.
The next activity was a two-day Workshop on the Implementation of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence in Research, led by Prof. Dr. Achmad Nurmandi, M.Sc. This workshop was held on Wednesday and Thursday, February 16th and 17th, 2022, to assist both lecturers and student participants.
On the second day, Friday, February 17th, 2022, the UMY Institute for Cooperation and International Affairs (LKI) also participated in the event. On this occasion, LKI facilitated a discussion on cooperation among Muhammadiyah ‘Aisyiyah Universities.
On the third day, Friday, February 18th, 2022, the APPPTMA Activity Reports and National Meeting were held. This day’s activities were attended by the APPPTMA Board of Directors to discuss the APPPTMA Board’s Performance Report for the 2019-2022 period, the formation of the APPPTMA Board for 2022-2024, and the development of a work plan.
