This graduation ceremony is an important moment for graduates to move to the next level, both in the professional and academic world. With the knowledge and experience gained during their studies, it is hoped that they can make a real contribution to society and the world of work. Congratulations to all participants of the UMY Postgraduate Program Judicium Period III T.A 2024/2025.

The event continued with the Final Study Lecture with the theme “Alumni Social Responsibility in Building Institutional Commitment” Prof. Dr. Zuly Qodir, M.Ag as the main speaker successfully made the atmosphere of the whole room into laughter but still solemn. This activity took place full of enthusiasm and intimacy, decorated with laughter between the speakers and participants. In his material, Prof. Zuly highlighted the role and position of UMY students as Chandradimuka, namely individuals who have been forged with knowledge and experience to become part of the academic elite in Indonesian society. He emphasized that class and level of education are very influential on future career development, and invited prospective graduates to understand their role in various aspects of social and institutional life.

In addition, in the discussion session, Prof. Zuly also mentioned about “Dompet UMY”, an educational fund initiative intended for UMY students. This delivery was interspersed with laughter, reminding us that social responsibility does not always have to be in the form of money, but can also take the form of land donations, buildings, or other contributions. Thus, UMY graduates or alumni can still show their contribution to the institution that once sheltered them, in this case UMY. This is also in line with the theme raised in the debriefing session this time.

With this briefing, it is hoped that the participants can understand and internalize the values of social responsibility in post-campus life. Alumni are expected to not only succeed individually, but also contribute to building the nation and strengthening UMY institutions in the future.
