Yogyakarta, February 28, 2025 – Welcoming the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan 1446 H, the Postgraduate Program of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) held a recitation activity with the theme “Welcoming and Living Ramadan with Joy and Sincerity”, which was held on Friday, February 28, 2025 in the Student Lounge of the Postgraduate Building.
This recitation was attended by Postgraduate academicians, ranging from leaders, lecturers, and education staff from various study programs. This activity is part of spiritual development and a place to strengthen friendship ahead of the blessed month.
The recitation this time presented Ustaz Dr. Muhsin Hariyanto, M.Ag. as the speaker. In his tausiyah, he invited participants to welcome Ramadan with gratitude and joy, not as a burden. He also emphasized the importance of living Ramadan with a sincere heart so that all deeds of worship are of full value in the sight of Allah SWT.
The event ended with a joint prayer and hospitality, creating a warm and family atmosphere that strengthens the spirit of welcoming Ramadan. Hopefully, this recitation will not only be a ceremonial activity, but a spiritual and moral spark for the entire UMY Postgraduate community.
