The Alumni Scholarship is a scholarship awarded to graduates of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta who have achieved academic excellence at the undergraduate (S1) level and are continuing their studies at the master's (S2) level, or those who have completed their master's degree and are pursuing a doctoral (S3) degree. The scholarship will be granted to those who apply and are accepted as new students in the Postgraduate Programs of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta.

The Muhammadiyah Excellent Cadre Scholarship is a financial aid program provided by Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta to Muhammadiyah cadres. This scholarship is awarded to new students who have high academic potential and achievements, and are active in Muhammadiyah organizations, especially Muhammadiyah Autonomous Organizations (Ortom).
The scholarship covers the exemption of Tuition Fees (SPP) and Educational Development Fund (DPP) and lasts for a maximum of 3 semesters for Master's Programs and 7 semesters for Doctoral Programs, which will be evaluated every semester.

General Requirements for the Muhammadiyah Cadre Scholarship Registration:
- Have a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 3.75 in the previous level of education.
- Have good English proficiency, proven by a valid TOEFL certificate with a minimum score of 500 or IELTS 6.0.
Specific Requirements for the Muhammadiyah Cadre Scholarship:
- Have a Muhammadiyah Membership Card (NBM: Muhammadiyah Standard Number).
- Be active in Muhammadiyah Autonomous Organizations, proven by a Board of Directors Decree or Certificate of Activity.
- Receive a recommendation from the Muhammadiyah Autonomous Organization Leader (PDM/PWM/PP Muhammadiyah).
Registration Procedure:
- Fill out the scholarship application form available at the Admissions Office.
- Register through the website penmarupasca.umy.ac.id
- Follow the administrative selection and interview selection with the Head of the desired Study Program.
- Prospective students who pass the administrative selection and interview selection will be announced through the website penmarupasca.umy.ac.id and/or contacted by the Study Program.
The Achievement Scholarship is a program awarded to new students who have outstanding achievements in research, have published scientific papers in reputable international journals, or have represented Indonesia as delegates in international events/competitions, as a form of appreciation from Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta.
The scholarship provides exemption from the Educational Services Contribution (SPP) and Educational Development Fund (DPP) for a maximum duration of 3 semesters for Master's Programs and 7 semesters for Doctoral Programs, which will be evaluated each semester.

- Have a certificate of achievement in a specific field within the last 1 year; or
- Have a published article within the last 1 year.
