Yogyakarta, April 17, 2025 – The Postgraduate Program of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) held a Gathering & Syawalan 1446 H as a momentum to strengthen ties and strengthen ukhuwah between the academic community after Eid-Fitr 1446 H. This event was held on Thursday (17/04) at Joglo Resodinomo Rewulu.
The Syawalan event was attended by the Director and Deputy Director of Postgraduate Program, caprodi, lecturers, education staff, and post-retirement in the postgraduate environment. A warm and intimate atmosphere colored the series of events that began with the reading of the holy verses of the Qur’an, followed by remarks and tausiyah Syawalan.
The tausiyah was delivered by Ust. Talqis Nurdianto, Lc, MA, who invited all participants to make the post-Ramadan moment a starting point for change towards a better person, both in personal and professional life.
The activity was closed with a joint prayer and halal bihalal between participants, accompanied by typical Lebaran dishes. The family atmosphere was warm in the moment of shaking hands and forgiving each other.
Through this activity, the UMY Postgraduate Program hopes that all elements in it can continue to strengthen communication, strengthen collaboration, and continue positive contributions to society and the world of education. (SN)
