As published on the official website of the Master’s Program in International Relations, the Master’s Program in International Relations (MIHI) at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) received a visit from a delegation of lecturers from the Master’s Program in International Relations at Universitas Parahyangan (UNPAR) Bandung, which was held at the MIHI UMY Study Hall, 2nd floor of the Postgraduate Building, UMY (8/10).
The delegation from UNPAR was led by Dr. I Nyoman Sudira, Head of the Master’s Program in International Relations at UNPAR, Dr. Aknolt Kristian Pakpahan, Idil Syawfi, and Jessica Martha. The welcoming party included Dr. Surwandono, M.Si, Head of the MIHI Study Program at UMY, Dr. Ahmad Sahide, S.IP., M.A., Secretary of the MIHI Study Program at UMY, Ali Maksum, Ph.D, Secretary of the International Relations Undergraduate Program at UMY, Dr. Sugeng Riyanto, manager of the international program of the International Relations Undergraduate Program at UMY.
The visit was intended as a form of academic networking to build cooperation as fellow managers of Master’s Programs in International Relations in Indonesia, especially to build a shared awareness in facing future accreditation that has already used Standard 9. One of the ideas was to collaborate in strengthening recognition for both parties. Another discussion from this visit was the exchange of experiences regarding the curriculum of both Master’s Programs in International Relations.
