The Graduate Program of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) conferred degrees upon 54 students during the final graduation ceremony of the 2023/2024 academic year
On Tuesday, June 4th, the Graduate Program of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) held its fourth graduation ceremony at the Amphitheater Building. During this final graduation ceremony of the 2023/2024 academic year, UMY successfully conferred degrees upon 54 students, comprising 51 Master’s degree recipients and 3 Doctoral degree recipients.
The event commenced with an opening ceremony, followed by a welcoming speech and the reading of the graduation minutes by the Director of the UMY Graduate Program, Prof. Ir. Sri Atmaja P. Rosyidi, M.Sc.Eng., Ph.D., P.Eng., IPU., ASEAN.Eng. The graduation minutes contained data on the graduates, including the following top graduates:
Edi Fajar Alidarma Wijaya: Master of Management program, achieved a GPA of 3.97 with a study duration of 1 year, 2 months, and 21 days.
Rani Meidawati: Master of Hospital Administration program, achieved a GPA of 3.94 with a study duration of 1 year, 7 months, and 21 days.
Lisa Sophia Yuliantini: Master of Public Administration program, achieved a GPA of 3.96 with a study duration of 1 year, 7 months, and 21 days.
Muhammad Imron Rosadi: Master of Nursing program, achieved a GPA of 3.97 with a study duration of 1 year, 7 months, and 21 days.
Zihan Maulida Mulyani Hilman: Master of Law program, achieved a GPA of 4.00 with a study duration of 1 year, 7 months, and 21 days.
Yuliza: Doctor of Management program, achieved a GPA of 3.94 with a study duration of 2 years, 6 months, and 21 days.
Furthermore, the following individuals were recognized as the best graduates of the UMY Graduate Program:
Zihan Maulida Mulyani Hilman (Master of Law) was awarded the Best Graduate and Cum Laude for achieving a GPA of 4.00.
Andriyani Dhaniaputri (Master of Hospital Administration) received the award for Best Thesis for her thesis titled “Evaluation of the Implementation of Pulmonary Tuberculosis Clinical Pathway in the Inpatient Ward of Tidar General Hospital, Magelang City”.
Yuliza (Doctor of Management) was awarded the Best Graduate and Cum Laude for achieving a GPA of 3.94.
Hussein Gibreel Musa Salih (Doctor of Management) received the award for Best Dissertation for his dissertation titled “Investigating the Antecedents and Consequences of Visiting Sustainable Destinations Intention: A Study of Heritage Sites in Central Java”.
The graduation ceremony concluded with a final study lecture entitled “Inclusive Education: A Humanitarian Necessity” delivered by Ro’fah, M.A., Ph.D., a member of the Central Board of ‘Aisyiyah Social Welfare and a lecturer at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta.
