From Monday, May 20th to Wednesday, May 22nd, the Graduate Program of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) conducted visits to several universities in Malaysia. The primary objective of these visits was to strengthen the Tri Dharma collaboration and the APPPTMA network. In conjunction with the Faculty of Islamic Studies, Ahmad Dahlan University (FAI UAD), UMY’s Graduate Program visited the Faculty of Education for the Master’s Program at Universiti Islam Selangor (UIS) and the Faculty of Islamic Studies at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM).
The visit to the Faculty of Education at UIS aimed to initiate collaborations among the three universities, particularly in strengthening the Tri Dharma and APPPTMA activities.
The visit to the Faculty of Islamic Studies at UKM aimed to further strengthen the existing collaboration between UMY and UKM, which was previously formalized through a Memorandum of Agreement between UMY’s Graduate Program and the Faculty of Islamic Studies at UKM. The delegation was warmly welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Studies, UKM, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Sunawari Long, and his team.
