Yogyakarta, March 10, 2025 – The Postgraduate Program of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) held a Learning Management Information System (SIM) Workshop for educational staff administrators on Monday (10/03). This activity took place in the UMY Postgraduate Director’s Conference Room and was attended by all study program administrators in the Postgraduate environment.
This workshop aims to improve the understanding and skills of educational staff administrators in managing academic and learning data digitally through information systems that have been developed by UMY such as SIM OBE, MyKlass, MySimAk, and SINThesis. The material presented includes procedures for inputting course data, monitoring the attendance of lecturers and students, to reporting online-based academic activities.
This workshop presented two resource persons from the UMY SIM Development Team, Yaum and Ma’arif, who provided technical training and simulations directly to the participants. The participants were also given the opportunity to convey the obstacles that have been faced in using the system.
With the implementation of this workshop, it is hoped that all educational staff administrators in the UMY Postgraduate Program are able to maximize the use of SIM Learning to support the university’s vision as a superior campus in information technology-based education management. (SN)
