On Saturday, January 29th, the Postgraduate Program of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (PPs UMY) held its third Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan (AIK) study for the 2021/2022 academic year. For this AIK study, PPs UMY was moderated by Dr. Hasse Jubba, M.A., with the speaker being Prof. Din Syamsuddin, M.A., Ph.D, Chairman of PP Muhammadiyah from 2005-2010 and 2010-2015, who discussed the theme “Islam & Global Politics: Is There Really a Clash of Civilizations?”. Similar to previous AIK studies, this study was conducted online via Zoom Meeting and was mandatory for all UMY Postgraduate Program students.
Approximately 317 participants from ten study programs at PPs UMY attended the AIK study.
