As reported on the official website of the Master of Law Program, Prof. Dr. Mukti Fajar DN, S.H., M. Hum., has been elected as the Chairperson of the Judicial Commission of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2021-2023 period. The election was held in a plenary meeting attended by all commissioners of the institution in Jakarta on Monday (18/1).
Quoting from the official UMY website, Mukti Fajar teaches several courses on legal theory related to economics, such as Investment Law, International Commercial Law, Intellectual Property Law, and Corporate Law.
After being elected as the Chairperson of the Judicial Commission for the next two years, he pledged, “We are committed to working professionally, not merely seeking the popularity of the position. In accordance with the authority entrusted to us.”
Therefore, all members of the academic community of the Master of Law Program at UMY congratulate and wish him success in carrying out his new duties as the Chairperson of the Judicial Commission of the Republic of Indonesia.
