As cited from the official website of the Master of Public Administration Program, the scholarship from the Education Fund Management Institute (LPDP) under the Ministry of Finance is officially opened on Tuesday, October 6th, 2020. The scholarship is divided into two types, namely the Educator Scholarship and the World’s Leading Universities (PTUD) Scholarship.
For the Educator Scholarship, LPDP provides various university options with different majors in master’s (S2) and doctoral (S3) programs. The following is a list of selected State Universities (PTN), Private Universities (PTS), and Government-Owned Universities (PTK) offered by LPDP to prospective recipients of the Master’s Educator Scholarship.
Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) is one of the private universities (PTS) that opens the LPDP scholarship path for educators. The Master of Public Administration UMY is the only S2 Public Administration in Indonesia that is included in the 2020 LPDP Educator Scholarship List. This opens up opportunities for teachers and lecturers who want to continue their studies in the Master of Public Administration through the LPDP Scholarship Program.
The educator scholarship is intended for Permanent Lecturers at Universities under the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Religious Affairs who have a National Lecturer ID Number (NIDN). This scholarship scheme is a single-degree master’s for Permanent Teachers with a maximum study duration of 24 (twenty-four) months.
The cost components provided in this LPDP scholarship scheme are Tuition Fees which include Registration Fees, Tuition Fees, Book Allowance, Thesis/Dissertation Research Fees, International Seminar Fees, International Journal Publication Fees, and Supporting Costs which include Transportation, Health Insurance, Monthly Living Expenses, Arrival Costs, Emergency Costs, and Family Allowance (for Doctoral).
