On Tuesday, August 3, 2021, the Postgraduate Program of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta held a Sharing Forum themed “Managing Postgraduate Program & Master by Research”. The event was held virtually and featured Professor Nik Mohd Rahimi, Ph.D, a lecturer from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, as the speaker, moderated by Dr. Elsye Maria Rosa, M.Kep.
This event was one form of benchmarking conducted by the Postgraduate Program of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. The Postgraduate Program held this event to provide an overview to the UMY Postgraduate Program staff on how the Postgraduate Program is managed at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Professor Nik Mohd Rahimi, Ph.D presented material that provided information to the participants of this Sharing Forum on how the Postgraduate Program and Master by Research programs are managed at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. This Sharing Forum was attended by leaders from various faculties at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta.
participants “Currently, all graduates of the Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Postgraduate Program are required to have output in the form of publications. In addition, one of the accreditation factors that must be fulfilled at the national level is Graduate on Time (GOT). We hope that through this event, we (the UMY Postgraduate Program) can gain an understanding of how to manage the Master by Research program so that it can be initiated soon,” said the Director of the UMY Postgraduate Program, Ir. Sri Atmaja P. Rosyidi., M.Sc.Eng., Ph.D., P.Eng.IPM, in the opening of the Sharing Forum with Professor Nik Mohd Rahimi, Ph.D.
