On Monday, September 11th, the Graduate Program of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) held a dissemination of research findings by UMY Graduate Program Lecturers with external parties. For this event, the Graduate Program invited the Yogyakarta Regional Coordination Forum for Terrorism Prevention (FKPT) and the Yogyakarta Special Region Agency for National Unity and Political Affairs (Kesbangpol) as dissemination participants.
The research presentations were delivered by Dr. Zuly Qodir, M.Ag (Lecturer of Islamic Political Doctorate – Political Science) who presented his research findings on radical and extremist movements, and Dr. dr. Mahendro Prasetyo Kusumo, MMR (Lecturer of Hospital Administration Master’s Program) who presented his research findings on the DoScreen application developed by his research team.
This event was the first of its kind regarding the presentation of research findings by UMY Graduate Program lecturers to external institutions. The Deputy Director for Academic Affairs of the UMY Graduate Program expressed hope that this event could be held annually to enhance the academic forum atmosphere in the UMY Graduate Program.
