The Graduate Program of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) conducted a visit to Bandung from Wednesday to Friday (July 19-21, 2023). During this visit, UMY visited Telkom University (TelkomU) and Universitas Muhammadiyah Bandung (UMBdg). The purpose of UMY’s visit to TelkomU was to benchmark the Fast Track Program that has been implemented by TelkomU. The visit was warmly welcomed by TelkomU and attended by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Dadan Rahadian, S.T., M.M., along with the Director of Postgraduate Studies and Advanced Learning, Dr. Achmad Rizal, S.T., M.T.
During the visit, the Head of the UMY Graduate Program, who was also present, was enthusiastic to inquire about the development of the Fast Track Program implemented by TelkomU. It is hoped that by sharing this program with TelkomU, it can help the study programs at UMY to implement the Fast Track Program. In addition, lecturers from both UMY and TelkomU can collaborate in research and community service.
During the visit, TelkomU took the UMY delegation on a campus tour, visiting the Open Library and the multimedia room called Celoe.
After visiting TelkomU, UMY conducted a courtesy visit to Universitas Muhammadiyah Bandung (UMBdg). The purpose of this visit was to strengthen ties between the two higher education institutions and it is hoped that lecturers from both UMY and UMBdg can collaborate in research and community service. The visit of UMY to UMBdg was also warmly welcomed and attended by the First Vice Rector of UMBdg, Dr. Hendar Riyadi, M.Ag.
