As reported on the official website of the Master of Public Administration Program, Jogja Smart Service (JSS) is an innovation implemented by the Yogyakarta City Government. Its goal is to provide accessible public services by optimizing information technology and data owned by the Yogyakarta City Government. JSS is a 24-hour service that covers population services, permits, complaints, and emergencies.
To learn more about JSS, the Master of Public Administration Program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta held a Public Lecture entitled “Jogja Smart Service in Smart City Innovation.” This public lecture was part of the Government Information Governance course, taught by Erni Zuhriyati, S.S., S.IP., MA., Dewi Sekar Kencono, S.IP., M.Si., and Bachtiar Dwi Kurniawan, S.Fil.I., MPA.
Held on Tuesday, December 22nd, 2020 at 1:00 PM WIB, this online public lecture featured Joko Marwiyanto, S.Kom., M.Eng., Head of the Smart City Development Section of the Yogyakarta City Communication and Informatics Service, as the speaker. Dewi Sekar Kencono, S.IP., M.Si., a lecturer at UMY, served as the moderator.
