As cited on the official website of the Magister Ilmu Pemerintahan (Master of Public Administration) program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, the Magister Ilmu Pemerintahan UMY is part of an international seminar series organized by the Asia Pacific Society for Public Affairs and the Jusuf Kalla School of Government UMY, supported by the Magister of Government Affairs and Administrations (MIP UMY) at Universitas Muhammadiyah Jember and international partners Khon Kaen University, Kalasin University, Maejo University, and Mahasarakham University. The international seminar is titled “Webinar Series: Public Lecturer on Local Government Development”.
The international seminar was held on Monday, March 15, 2021, from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM WIB, online via Zoom and live YouTube channel. At least 250 participants attended the event, showing great enthusiasm. The event featured three speakers from academia who have a keen interest in the seminar’s main theme, including Prof. Dr. Sukanya Almithan (Khon Kaen University, Thailand), Adil Hassan Ibrahim (International Student From Sudan North Africa), and Dr. Dyah Mutiarin, M.Si (Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, Indonesia). In addition, the international seminar was moderated by a lecturer from the Magister Ilmu Pemerintahan UMY, Eko Priyo Purnomo, M.Res., Ph.D., who is also a senior researcher at the Jusuf Kalla School of Governance.
